Searching in VIRTual Support
To perform a search for incidents in VIRTual Support, follow these steps:
- After logging in and selecting a module, click on the pull down menu at the top of the page titled New and saved queries....
- Select New query.
- Select at least one issue type.
- Click on Define query.
- If you want to see all of the entries for the selected issue types, click Search.
- If you are looking for a specific entry, click Advanced query in the upper right corner.
- Fill out the form with the specific information you are looking for.
- To save the query, click Save this query and fill out the form.
- Click Submit to perform the search.
- Add and remove attributes you see in the query results by clicking the Add/remove attributes from view. Select the attributes you want to view and the order they should appear.
- Click column headings to sort the list using the selected column.
- Click on the issue number to see a particular issue.
