Searching in VIRTual Support

To perform a search for incidents in VIRTual Support, follow these steps:

  1. After logging in and selecting a module, click on the pull down menu at the top of the page titled New and saved queries....
  2. Select New query.
  3. Select at least one issue type.
  4. Click on Define query.
  5. If you want to see all of the entries for the selected issue types, click Search.
  6. If you are looking for a specific entry, click Advanced query in the upper right corner.
  7. Fill out the form with the specific information you are looking for.
  8. To save the query, click Save this query and fill out the form. 
  9. Click Submit to perform the search.
  10. Add and remove attributes you see in the query results by clicking the Add/remove attributes from view.  Select the attributes you want to view and the order they should appear.
  11. Click column headings to sort the list using the selected column.
  12. Click on the issue number to see a particular issue.
