Traditional headend solutions are often beyond the reach of small to medium sized operators.  Traditional headends have high costs, require significant integration, often have proprietary software and control systems and have a long lead-time to deployment.  As a response, Vidiom has developed a turnkey compact headend solution for this segment of the market.

VID-1000 is an integrated DTV headend solution designed for small and medium sized operators. This compact turnkey system provides a wide range of flexible digital content input interfaces, multimedia re-multiplexing and concurrent IPTV and digitized CATV (Cable Television) service outputs (when used with external IP QAM Modulator). With the companion Vidiom software product – Service Delivery Platform (SDP) – VID-1000 offers
