Lab & Testing Services Vidiom has participated in many of the CableLabs initiatives to develop iTV standards including OCAP and OpenCable as well as delivering iTV solutions for cable operators and CE manufacturers. Our team has extensive experience in testing hardware and software to ensure its performance in production environments. Vidiom can help you test your standards-based devices and applications. Testing is much more than solely testing the compliance of a hardware device with industry standards and requirements. Consumer electronics manufacturers also need to ensure that their devices will meet the requirements of the various MSOs that may deploy their products. Vidiom is working with the MSOs to integrate their network profiles into the testing process to help ensure compliance with the needs of different cable systems. In the near future, our ongoing expansion of testing services will also include application testing for content providers, MSOs and hardware manufacturers. Vidiom has developed an automated test system, vCert that provides the ability to perform over 14,000 tests on manufacturer's hardware as preliminary step toward compliance with CableLabs standards.
